The recent AMSG FC trials were a resounding success, drawing over 50 hopeful players eager to earn a spot on the team. Over the course of the trial days, coaches and scouts evaluated a wide range of local talent, focusing on athletes who could contribute immediately and grow with the club.
After intense competition and thorough assessments, AMSG FC is excited to announce the signing of two standout players: Estelle Jarrels, a striker from Cornell University, who will join the USL Women’s team, and Andrew Arreola, a center back from California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH), who will bolster the USL League Two squad.
Coach Ismaiel Alkayali shared his thoughts on the signings: “Estelle is an experienced striker with a proven track record at the collegiate level. She brings a fierce attacking presence and leadership that will be invaluable to our USL Women’s team. Andrew, coming from CSUDH, is a solid and commanding center back. His defensive skills and composure will strengthen our back line as we push for a successful season.”
“These trials are a great way to involve local players who might not otherwise get seen. It gives them a platform to showcase their skills and chase their dream of playing at a higher level. We’re thrilled to welcome Estelle and Andrew to the AMSG family and look forward to seeing their impact on the field,” Alkayali added.
The club thanks all the players who participated for their hard work and passion. AMSG FC remains dedicated to fostering local soccer talent and looks forward to an exciting season ahead.
